Real estate firm Northland Investment Corporation has hired former AEW Partners Funds’ Ami Fatula as chief financial officer.
Fatula, who led accounting and reporting for rival real estate firm AEW Partners, joins Northland to oversee the firm’s finance, accounting tax, reporting, treasury and technology functions.
Prior to AEW Partners Fatula also specialized in real estate as an audit manager at Ernst & Young.
“Her strong knowledge of the real estate industry and fiduciary care will be an asset to Northland as we continue to grow and focus on creating and maximizing value within the multifamily sector as best-in-class owners and operators,” said in a statement Steven Rosenthal, president and chief executive of Northland.
Northland, a privately-held real estate investment firm, has $3 billion in assets under management, and is based in Newton, Massachusetts. Northland’s portfolio includes more than 2 million square feet of office, retail and commercial assets across six real estate investment funds.
