Northleaf hires CTO

The Canadian private equity firm has appointed James Fung as chief technology officer.

Northleaf Capital Partners, a Canadian private equity firm, has hired James Fung as chief technology officer.

Fung will focus on developing the Northleaf’s IT strategy, identifying and assessing business needs, and recommending and implementing necessary technology solutions.

Fung was most recently a strategy executive at Accenture, a professional services firm, in digital transformation. Previously, he was an associate partner and executive consultant at IBM, a global technology company.

Fung’s appointment follows that of Matt Murphy in March as the firm’s legal counsel.
