Service update: Latest moves in fund admin – August 2012

JP Morgan adds Form PF capabilities to its services while McGladrey bolsters its Connecticut office.

 Fund services firm Maitland has expanded its offerings to Asia and Africa with the purchase of Inter-Ocean Management, the Mauritius-based corporate services firm. Both Maitland and Inter-Ocean provide a range of structuring, accounting and private equity fund administration services.

 Fund administrator SS&C GlobeOP has improved its product range with the launch of e-investor. E-investor provides an electronic means to manage paper-based investment documents such as subscriptions and redemptions.

 Tax and accounting consultancy McGladrey has bolstered its Connecticut practice by moving partner Kislay “Sal” Shah to its Stamford office. Shah was previously based in New York.

 JP Morgan has added reporting capabilities for the Securities and Exchange Commission’s filing requirement, Form PF, to its roster of services. Form PF is designed to assess systemic risk in the US economy.

 Fund administrator R&H Fund Services has promoted Gareth Smith to director of its Guernsey office. Formerly of Deloitte and Ernst & Young, Smith was a senior relationship manager at R&H’s Jersey office before relocating to the firm’s Guernsey post which opened last November.
