They’re hired: this week’s top people moves

TSG Consumer Partners has appointed Jessica Duran as CFO and CCO, while Pablo de la Infiesta has joined Moelis & Company to lead its private funds advisory group in the EMEA.

US private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners has appointed Jessica Duran as chief financial and compliance officer. She joins from Deloitte, where she was a partner in the private equity practice. The firm’s portfolio includes consumer brands Smashbox Cosmetics, Perricone MD and BrewDog.

Pablo de la Infiesta has been appointed head of the EMEA private equity advisory group at Moelis & Company, a global investment bank. He was previously at Lazard, where he was European head of the firm’s private capital advisory, focusing on fund placement and secondary advisory. Prior to this, he was a principal at Campbell Lutyens in London.

Fernando Zúñiga has been appointed as head of MPC Capital’s new Panama office. The firm is an asset and investment manager covering real estate, shipping and infrastructure. He had worked as manager for Latin America at SolarCentury. Before that, he originated solar energy investment deals at Grupo ECOS in Panama as a senior project developer.

In the legal market, Scott Peterman has joined Orrick, a global law firm, as a partner in its private equity and M&A practice in Hong Kong. He was a partner at Jones Day in Hong Kong. He specializes in fund formation. His appointment follows Mark Lehmkuhler’s appointment to the practice last month.

In New York, global law firm Greenberg Traurig has appointed Ben Adler as of counsel in the firm’s corporate practice. He specializes in private equity transactions and fund formation. He will also cover the Tel Aviv office. He had been general counsel of Goldman Sachs merchant banking division for nearly 18 years.
