Through the years

at September's fifth annual European Private Equity International COOs and CFOs Forum held in London, delegates were asked to answer a series of questions related to their compensation. The same questions were posed to delegates to previous European COOs and CFOs Forums. Over the next three pages, we compare the results from multiple years.

The results show that, with regard to the sharing of carried interest at private equity firms in Europe, there has been no material change. The most noticeable trends may be that CFOs, general counsel and IR professionals are now more likely to be partners, and enthusiasm for wealth creation among the ranks of private equity professionals has never been higher.
