Unigrains makes marketing and comms push

Ari Levine, who covered marketing and communications for 21 Partners in France, has joined Unigrains in the newly created role.

Private equity and venture capital firm Unigrains has hired Ari Levine for a newly created marketing and communications role.

Levine joined the agri-food and agro-industrial firm’s Paris office in October, according to his LinkedIn profile. He had worked for 21 Partners in the French capital for one and a half years.

Levine covered marketing and communications at European private equity group 21 Partners for one and a half years. Prior to this he served as a financial communications and public relations consultant at international communications firm Citigate Dewe Rogerson.

Unigrains makes investments into European companies in the agri-food and agro-industrial sectors. The firm manages €1.10 billion of assets and has invested more than €360 million in over 330 companies, according to PEI data.

Levine’s hire is part of a raft of new hires made by the firm that have yet to be announced, pfm understands.

It is unclear if Unigrains plans to further expand its marketing and communications team. The firm declined to comment on the hire.
