‘We are competing inside our four walls’

Data: Tech leaders at several major private equity firms discussed the sometimes hard-to-quantify benefits of good data management on a webinar yesterday. TPG chief information officer Scott Toornburg argued that the competitive advantage materializes internally, saying, “We’re not really competing against each other, per se, but we are competing inside our four walls.”
