Gen II names new CFO

The fund admin’s former finance chief is now senior leader of the firm’s management company service business.

Private capital fund administrator Gen II Fund Services named Marlene Pelage as its new chief financial officer.

Pelage joins Gen II from advertising agency IPG Mediabrands, where she was global CFO. She takes over for Phil Bruno, who is now head of Gen II’s Management Company Services business.

Gen II said that business has grown substantially, which has necessitated adding a senior leader to the team, a role Bruno requested. The firm said it will be hiring additional management company team members to accommodate the growth of the business line.

Pelage has more than 30 years experience in the financial services industry. Before her IPG Mediabrands stint, she was CFO at Charles Schwab Bank. Pelage also spent more than a decade at Credit Agricole Bank, where she held positions including credit analyst and risk manager.
