Gen II promotes pair of top Luxembourg execs

Gen II Fund Services announced two senior promotions for its Luxembourg office, naming Christophe Ponticello, its chief operating officer, as country head, and fellow executive Duncan Christie to fill the COO role.

Christie, who has served as head of operations and client services, was hired by Gen II in 2021 as part of an expansion of its Europe team.

Ponticello, according to his company biography, came to Gen II with more than 15 years’ private equity administration and financial services experience. His prior employers include Ipes and Caceis Bank Luxembourg.

Christie, his company biography shows, previously held COO roles at International Financial Data Services, Luxembourg and at State Street Services Luxembourg.

Separately, the firm announced eight people for its 2023 principal class.

The members named are Julian Blumberg; Taylor Graham; Joel Hiatt; Doug Horton; Radi Ilamov; Julie Ren; Bo Yang; and Corey Zahner.
