GPCA adds four new board members

New directors are with CPP Investments, Temasek, Future Fund and Lexington Partners.

The Global Private Capital Association announced that it has added four new members to its board of directors, representing a quartet of prominent investors.

The incoming directors are Temasek chief investment officer Rohit Sipahimalani; CPP Investments’ Frank Su, who is managing director, head of private equity Asia; Jose Sosa del Valle, who is a partner at Lexington Partners; and Future Fund’s Craig Thorburn, who is director at the office of the chief investment officer.

GPCA CEO Cate Ambrose touted the new directors’ perspectives and growth priorities.

“As individuals, they are closely aligned with GPCA’s focus on inclusive and sustainable growth, and they bring valuable perspectives on the fundamental shifts that will define future opportunity for private capital investors,” Ambrose said in a statement.

The organization, which counts investor members that collectively manage over $2 trillion across several regions, said the new board members will attend this year’s Global Private Capital Conference. The US gathering, which is in partnership with IFC, will be held at the Conrad New York Downtown from March 27-29.

GPCA has members who are active in Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
