Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale hires private equity expert for Chicago office

Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale has hired Kurt J H Mueller for the business services unit of its Chicago office.

Mueller has nearly 25 years in practicing corporate law particularly mergers, acquisitions, venture capital and private equity. Other specialties include fund formation and complex joint venture transactions. His experience includes corporate governance, credit facilities and employment agreements, among other things.

Before joining Greensfelder, Mueller served as a partner and senior counsel at several national firms, most recently Halling & Cayo, where he was partner, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has also worked at in-house counsel for Bank of America’s private equity and strategic investing business. He has received a JD, cum laude, from Boston University, and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin.
