JTC noted that Punt most recently worked at Jenson Funding Partners, where he served in a senior position and supported its early-stage portfolio companies. Prior to that, Punt was with the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), where he was involved with member engagement.

Punt’s new tasks will include building out JTC’s private equity and venture capital offering. He will have a geographical focus on the UK and the Channel Islands, JTC added.

The new hire is also responsible for developing the company’s relationships with intermediaries.

Additionally, Punt will help the firm with increasing business for its existing fund and corporate services.
