Fryer, a private funds and real estate partner, will be working in King & Spalding’s Corporate, Finance and Investments practice, the firm said.

King & Spalding noted that Fryer will provide advice on real estate capital markets to sponsors and institutional investors. It added that the advice will include “a particular focus on real estate fund formation, joint ventures and other capital markets transactions.”

Fryer previously worked for the law firm from 2014 to 2018, first as an associate then as a partner. King & Spalding added that he subsequently co-founded Evergreen Medical Properties, a real estate operating company, and was a principal at real estate venture capital firm Iron Tree Capital Partners.
