Kramer Levin adds fund formation partner

The law firm has hired a K&L Gates partner to grow its private fund formation practice.

Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel has hired Yasho Lahiri as a partner in the firm’s investment management group, broadening its private fund formation practice.

Lahiri will be based in New York.

Lahiri advises sponsors of private equity funds, credit funds, venture capital funds, and infrastructure funds, according to Kramer Levin.

He has helped launch private investment funds in addition to alternative investment vehicles, said the firm.

Lahiri joins from K&L Gates, where he was a partner in the asset management and investment fund practice for three years. He was previously a partner in DLA Piper’s corporate practice and investment funds group.
