KSL names new CFO

The firm also appointed its first head of investor relations and marketing.

Travel and leisure-focused KSL Capital has named a new CFO.

The firm has appointed Nolen Taylor to the role from an outside firm, replacing Charlie Martin. KSL did not respond to requests for comment, and it is unknown if Martin is still with the firm in another capacity. Martin joined KSL in 2005.

Taylor will be a member of the firm’s investment committee and will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s finance and accounting functions. He joins from The Energy and Minerals Group (EMG), an energy-focused private equity firm, where he was CFO and managing director for 10 years.

KSL also named Ana Goizueta as its first head of investor relations and marketing. Goizueta will join the firm’s investment committee as well and will be responsible for supporting KSL Capital’s growth through capital raising in addition to investor relations and marketing.

Goizueta was previously director of investor relations at mid-market private equity and distressed debt manager Littlejohn.

KSL also promoted Michael Mohapp to partner and Jens Blomdahl to principal, effective January 1, 2023. Mohapp is based in Denver and Blomdahl is based in London. Both are members of the firm’s investment committee and were associates at the firm.
