Sun Capital names new CFO

The firm also named a new chief human resources officer to its management team.

Boca Raton-based Sun Capital has hired Marc Keirstead as chief financial officer and Adam Massman as chief human resources officer.

Keirstead replaces previous CFO Kelli Turner, who is no longer with the firm. Massman takes over the chief HR position from Angela Geffre, who is now the head of human capital for GrowthCurve Capital.

Both are based in the firm’s Boca Raton office.

Keirstead joins Sun Capital from Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he was CFO in the private equities department. Prior to joining ADIA, Keirstead was director of investment finance, private investments, at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. Previously, he oversaw financial and investment performance reporting, transaction processes and control processes at OMERS Capital Partners.

Most recently, Massman was head of human resources for sustainability at Jones Lang LaSalle. Prior to JLL, he held senior HR positions at Rockwell Collins, Kellogg’s and Procter and Gamble.

Sun Capital manages $7.8 billion and focuses on businesses in growing markets with tangible performance improvement opportunities in the business services, consumer, healthcare, industrial and technology sectors.
