Blue Wolf Capital Partners’ CFO will be leaving his post to join venture capital firm StartUp Health.
Joshua Cherry-Seto will be joining StartUp Health in September as partner and CFO to help expand the firm’s global investing platform and support its portfolio of health innovation startups, he told Private Funds CFO, after the move was announced on his LinkedIn profile yesterday.
StartUp Health said in a LinkedIn post that Cherry-Seto will oversee and lead all finance and accounting efforts, and help the company build its assets under management and global investing platform.
Cherry-Seto was hired as Blue Wolf Capital’s first full-time CFO in 2013. He helped grow the firm, from $100 million in investments to $3 billion in assets under management.
He also served on the firm’s ESG committee.
Cherry-Seto also currently sits on the finance committee for the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) NY and is co-chair of ACG PERT.
Prior to Blue Wolf, Cherry-Seto was portfolio and valuations manager at Grove International Partners for five years.
