Former TPG Asia GC joins virtual law firm

Virtual law firm Scale LLP has hired David Reintjes as a partner in its corporate and securities practice.

Reintjes will be based in Denver. The law firm said on LinkedIn that it was excited to add Reintjes’ experience in private equity M&A, regulatory and international law.

Reintjes spent more than 15 years at private equity giant TPG in senior legal and compliance roles. In February, the firm promoted him to senior adviser. He was previously managing director and general counsel for the Asia-Pacific region for five years, and served as chief compliance officer and deputy general counsel for nine years.

Scale is a virtual law firm that focuses on counseling technology and other growth companies. It’s practice areas include corporate and securities, fintech and financial services, real estate and land use, litigation and intellectual property.
